I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We had a delicious turkey dinner with family at my sister's house. After dinner, all the girls decided to work on some Christmas crafts and shrinky dinks. It was a very fun evening! So today we are busy elves doing some shopping and working on decorating our home for Christmas. Our favorite holiday, so we like to decorate early so that we can enjoy. Wishing you the best, connie

She is Crowned
I made this bear several years ago, and decided she needed a little cleaning and sprucing up! I found this sweet crown at Joyworks last week. It's a perfect fit for a beary crown. Wishing you the best this week. I was thinking we had another full week before Thanksgiving, but it's actually next week...yikes! I've got to start gathering up ingredients for my Thanksgiving desserts. Yum!

Journey to Wings
Last Friday my sister and I went to Joyworks 30th Birthday Party. It was soooo much fun! They had the store all decorated for Christmas (it was beautiful), lots of delicious appetizers to sample (and recipes too), and special guest artist, Kelly Rae Roberts! It was fun to meet Kelly. Her work is so beautiful! Thanks ladies for such a fun party and many more years. It was a great time! Dream Big in 2010! xo, connie

Fun Displaying Idea
I'm always looking for fun ways to display photos. I found this vintage soap dish at a local antique store. At the time I thought it would be fun to put something in : ) It works perfectly for holding my fun photo blocks. Love my sweet girls' photos on these blocks! Happy displaying!

Chipboard buttons
I just picked up some of these old time photo chipboard buttons by Jenni Bowlin. Thought they might be fun to use in some Christmas projects. It would be fun to use some of my own vintage family photos and make some buttons for family members for Christmas too. Wishing you a delightful weekend! connie
